Damaging earthquake near Gili Islands, Lombok, Indonesia: 24 injured, 3 critical
M 5.2 damaging earthquake hit off the coast of the Gili Islands, Lombok, Indonesia on June 22, 2013.According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the quake's epicenter was located 12 km NW of Karangsubagan. It was 6.2 miles deep.According to The Voice Of Russia who has quoted Iwan Maret Asmara, the head of the department for liquidation of consequences of natural calamities of the North Lombok, earthquake has seriously damaged 1,700 houses and more than 25 temples.At least 24 people have been injured with three of them in critical condition.
